Sherman Oaks southern boundary is Mulholland Drive. The western boundary is Firmament Ave. The current northern boundary is Oxnard and the eastern boundary is Coldwater Canyon Avenue from Burbank south to Magnolia where it jogs west so as to reach Fulton Avenue at Ventura Boulevard The line then follows Longridge south to Mulholland.
In July 2009, the Los Angeles City Council approved a request to extend the northern boundary of Sherman Oaks from Burbank Blvd. to Oxnard St.
As of January 4, 2012 there are 126 single family homes on the market in Sherman Oaks, prices ranging from $329,923-$2,375,000 of those for sale 11 are Short-Sales, with prices ranging from $342,000-$1,995,000.
